Level 4 Diploma in Computing with Business Management (L4DCBM)
The Level 4 Diploma in Computing (with Business Management) (L4DC BM)) (previously the Level 4 Diploma in Business Information Technology (L4DBIT)) makes up the first year of the NCC Education degree journey. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of an IT degree in the UK university system. Students will be given the opportunity to develop essential thinking and study skills in IT and business through a balance of academic and vocational subjects. They will be able to contribute to the development of computer systems and networks, databases and websites in a business context, whilst also developing an awareness of business needs. The qualification will allow them to understand and enter the IT and business profession with the necessary knowledge expected within the industry and the ability to apply the skills to a range of IT-related functions. On successful completion of the qualification students will be able to embark on NCC Education’s Level 5 Diploma in Computing with Business Management (L5DC BM), which is equivalent to the second year of a UK Bachelor’s degree, transfer to a university or pursue a career in the IT industry
Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC)
The NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC) is an Ofqual regulated qualification. The qualification makes up the first year of a Computing/ IT degree pathway. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of an IT degree in the UK university system. Students will be given the opportunity to develop essential thinking and study skills, not only within the computing domain, but also within the context of business through a balance of academic and vocational subjects. The qualification will allow them to understand and enter the computing profession with the necessary knowledge expected within the industry and the ability to apply the skills to a range of IT-related functions. On successful completion of the qualification students will be able to embark on NCC Education’s Level 5 Diploma in Computing (L5DC), which is equivalent to the second year of a UK Bachelor’s degree, transfer to a university or pursue a career in the IT industry. Approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IFATE) in England as a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ).
BSc (Hons) Business Management
The BSc (Hons) Business Management top-up degree is delivered online by Western International College Online (WINC) with the final degree awarded by the University of Bolton. The programme has an international context with the aim of preparing students for the global nature of modern business practice. The syllabus has an emphasis on real world experience which is informed by the latest research and global practices. This degree programme provides the opportunity to develop specialize business expertise as it covers a variety of subject areas. It will enable students to develop skills such as team work, communication and time management, all essential for the workplace along with an appreciation for self-evaluation and reflection. Regardless of the industry students intend to pursue careers in, the BSc (Hons) Business Management Top-Up programme will provide graduates with a critical understanding of the problems and challenges facing organisations worldwide and equip them with the analytical and complex problem-solving skills required to identify and articulate potential solutions. Full time: 1 year (2 semesters) Part time: 2-3 years
Level 5 Diploma in Computing with Business Management (L5DCBM)
The Level 5 Diploma in Computing (with Business Management) (L5DC BM) (previously the Level 5 Diploma in Business IT (L5DBIT)) makes up the second year of the NCC Education degree journey and builds upon the knowledge gained during the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business Information Technology (L4DBIT). Students will be exposed to more advanced topics in a range of areas including information systems analysis, database development and the principles of business operations. Students will study a balance of academic and vocational subjects in order to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to play a significant role in IT and business organisations. On successful completion of the qualification, students will be able to complete the final year of a degree with the NCC Education Business Computing and Information Systems Top Up validated by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), the University of Greenwich Business Information Technology Top Up delivered at our Accredited Partner Centres, at one of the many universities that recognise NCC Education qualifications, or pursue a career in the IT industry.
Level 5 Diploma in Business (L5DB) Promotion valid till 31 August 2025
The NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business (L5DB) builds upon the knowledge gained during the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business (L4DB). This qualification exposes students to more advanced topics in a range of areas including economics, marketing, finance and management. A balance of academic and vocational subjects equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills required to play a significant role in a business organisation.

The NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Business (L3DB) is regulated by Ofqual. It is an Applied General qualification which allows candidates to demonstrate key transferable study skills, mathematical competency and applied cultural understanding, particularly in the context of international business, as well as a grounding in the essential concepts of business and economics. The Level 3 Diploma in Business syllabus and assessment is suitable for students aged 16-19 as well as adult learners.

The NCC Education Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business (L3EDB), regulated by OFQUAL, is a Pre-University Bridging Programme that enables learners to develop in-depth knowledge and skills across key areas of business. In addition, successful candidates will fulfil the main entry requirements for NCC Education’s Level 4 Diploma in Business (L4DB) as well as opening up opportunities to access a range of higher education courses or employment. Examples of higher education opportunities include, but are not limited to, progressing to university degrees in Business Management, Marketing, International Business, Accounting and Finance and examples of employment opportunities include roles such as Accounts Clerk, Recruitment Consultant and Accounting Technician.
